The first day of March marked the 34th anniversary of The Soup Kitchen. Who would have dreamed in 1990, when a mother and her three children appeared at the church door, saying that they had not eaten for several days, that such a ministry would grow?

As our policy has been since the day our doors opened, we ask no questions of our guests and there are no forms they must fill out We simply welcome hungry dinner guests into the Parish Hall and direct them to our dining tables where they will receive a warm nutritious, homecooked meal.

Our kitchen, now open five days a week, January through December, serves more than 25,000 meals each year. 

To mark the many years that The Soup Kitchen and the community have worked together to feed the hungry in Yamhill County, we invite you to help us celebrate by making a donation of 34 dollars or a multiple thereof during the month of March.
